CLOCK GETS A FACELIFT

 

Some of you may have noticed that the Clock Tower in the High Street has recently received a ‘make over’ and is now looking very clean and smart.  As part of the works the Parish Council has also had wire mess attached inside the louvres to deter the pigeons.  You may also have noticed that the cockerel now has a ‘golden’ view around the Town as he has been re-gilded.  Our thanks to Cliff Carter a local resident for undertaking to climb the scaffolding to do the work.
