Safeguarding and Young People
Safeguarding Policy – Sets out how JPYC safeguards children and young people, including how concerns are recognised, recorded and reported.
Keeping Children Safe in education from 1 September 2025 – Statutory government guidance that informs safeguarding practice within JPYC. This document supports, but does not replace, the JPYC Safeguarding Policy.
Drugs and Substance Use Policy – Explains how JPYC manages issues relating to drugs, alcohol and substance misuse to protect young people and staff.
Staff, Volunteers and Conduct
Employee Handbook – Provides guidance for JPYC employees on conduct, roles, responsibilities, safeguarding expectations and workplace procedures.
Volunteer Policy – Outlines expectations, responsibilities and support arrangements for volunteers working with JPYC.
DBS Policy – Sets out Disclosure and Barring Service requirements for staff and volunteers and how checks are managed and recorded.
